Criteria for Admission to Sixth Form Study

We expect students to be highly motivated and parents to be supportive and actively involved in the education of their son or daughter.

We will expect you to have an excellent, behaviour and attendance record.

We will expect you to respond to opportunities by adopting a responsible attitude to all aspects of school life. This sense of responsibility should be displayed in terms of politeness, diligence, reliability, attendance, punctuality, and appearance.

Sixth form study is non-compulsory education. When a student has expressed the desire to enter sixth form at Slemish College and GCSE results are available, she or he will be invited to attend an interview with members of Senior Staff. This interview will assist and guide students in making appropriate choices.
